the road to lloyd neck

if you are traveling toward lloyd neck along the road overlooking cold spring harbor, (sorry, I have no idea what the name of this road is) the above photo is the landscape you will see on the right. cold spring harbor, the photo below is on the left. our weather has been very crisp and autumnal like as of late so I thought a scenic drive over to caumsett park was in order. ian just had his wisdom teeth taken out so he really isn't up for a lot of activity but it was too gorgeous outside for him to be sitting inside. a ride in the "country" was the perfect solution. if you'd like to read more about lloyd harbor, check out last sunday's new york times article here.
