memory motel in montauk

this is the hotel the rolling stones actually hung out at while visiting andy warhol's estate way back when. it sits near the center of town and if you were driving by you may not even notice it if you weren't looking for it like I was. the story goes its pool table and piano is what attracted the stones. the story also goes that what went on there inspired the song "memory motel". pretty cool.
