sunday evenings are traditionally extremely quiet around these parts, until you hear a semi roaring down your block. technically it is illegal for trucks over a certain weight to drive through our neighborhood, that's why I believe this driver might be lost. happy first day of february everyone.
You have heard of LI & its many stereotypes? You wonder if they may be true but wish not to risk visiting in the event that they are. Be bold then & visit me daily & I promise I will show you many sides of Long Island that you will be both amazed & inspired by.

That is one big truck, Lily! I hope it wasn't on the parkway.
I think so too! But it sure gave you a beautiful yellow-and-blue nighttime palette to capture.
Kind of a spooky, surreal shot, with a wandering semi....have you seen 'Duel'? Scary.
Wow! That's one BIG truck! I hope it didn't get itself into a tight spot where it couldn't maneuver.
Could be .. or maybe someone is moving ..
Nice Shot, love the colors in it.
Probably looking for a place to crash for the night. (Pun intended)
I'm always fascinated when I see a huge truck in a residential area...great captian, too..like the surreal colors in this photo.

Given the suburban setting of this image, «Louis» would agree!
I love the contrasts. The colors are so brilliant. Nice. PGma

Yes, a very interesting picture, Lily. The evening light makes a wonderful effect in the image.
I hope he found his way home. ;-)

Such a big truck for such a small street. Maybe he's just going home?
