stella dallas reflections and a small homage to 365 days in brooklyn

stella dallas thrift shop on thompson street in greenwich village, ny has been around since I used to live there 18 years ago. while hanging out right next door in front of generation records the other day, I could barely contain my excitement upon noticing the wonderful reflections in their shop window. today's meme is "weekend reflections" hosted by james of newtown area photo. please go here to see more or join in the fun. thanks james.
the homage part of this post goes to miss b's two blogs, 365 days in brooklyn & once I saw a dragonfly. I first came across miss b's 365 days in islip, then she moved to brooklyn, the whole while selling vintage clothing on ebay. I love following her and her adventures. wherever she goes she seems to bring with her the best sense of humor and style - a rare combination of great talent, in my humble opinion. anyway, seeing this store reminded me of her.

Hi Lily. Thanks for your nice comment. It looks like we had the same idea for a store window reflection. I like yours because we get a clear look inside plus we get to look for things on the outside. I like the fire escape reflection.
Have a great weekend!

Very interesting reflections, but in this case, I'm more interesting in what's inside the shop! ;)

Wishing you a wonderful weekend, Lily!

Miss Lily, what a LOVELY mention of my blogs! And hopefully an inspirational PUSH for me, as I've been a little off lately with the photography and blogging. A little?? Ha, I've been downright LAZY!

Love your window/reflection photo - you're so good about following your daily themes and actually finding shots that fit them!

Bettye. who now feels she needs to go tidy and update 365daysinbrooklyn!

I like the way you composed this one. The person who did the window has a good sense of design as well.
Hi Lily

Noce photo! I'm excited to hear about Ms B's blog ...I always enjoy finding another blogger who lives in Brooklyn.

Love the reflections, but I adore the clothes. Wish I had the courage to wear that hat!
