a blooming boston magnolia tree and its blossom

the magnolia trees in boston are absolutely beautiful this time of year. check out the beautiful blossom below. if you drive along commonwealth avenue you will see almost every residence has a magnolia tree blooming in front of it along with a carpet of magnolia petals underneath.

Lovely! I didn't realize magnolia trees grew that far north. I was just down in Louisiana and saw the white magnolia blossoms there.

Our Magnolia here are still starting to bloom. I guess we are too late here in MI because we are always cold. Great shots and is Magnolia has a sweet smell? Thanks for the visit!
