the path to the fire island lighthouse is one of my favorite walks to take on long island. ian and I made the trip on september 2nd and although it was a perfect summer day, the subtle changes in nature's color indicated that autumn was well on its way.

My older brother does not live far away from this lighthouse and I've done this walk many times with him and his family when I visit. It's beautiful!

oh sweet, I've never been to the lighthouse on Fire Island .. in fact its been half a lifetime since I was last on Fire Island .. oh wild and crazy youth ...
