what the squirrel planted

Backyard-Muscari-in-Farmingdale

I planted at least a hundred of these last autumn. pictured here are just two of the four that weren't dug up by our resident squirrel. the funny thing is, he must have hidden (buried) these two over by the garage since I didn't plant a single thing there. those jokester squirrels always got something up their sleeves.
here is a beautiful muscari "patch" from spring 2009 - just in case you missed them the first time. please click on the photo if you want a close up.

Muscaris go so well with green. Ah squirrels find always a way to make us smile but sometimes also to make us grumble...

Es una flor hermosa y el azul es mi color favorito.Se que ahí debéis estar hartos de las ardillas, aquí como no tenemos a mi me parecen muy simpáticas. Feliz fin de semana amiga.besos!
The cool thing about muscari is that (if the squirrels leave them alone) they self-seed and propagate like crazy.
