I love this place

this scene was from a couple of weeks ago when I was still working up the courage to completely submerge myself in the ocean. I can be such a scaredy cat about feeling like I'm being stabbed with icicles - at least that's what diving into the antlantic sometimes feels like to me. anyway, I finally dove in this morning and it was fabulous! not too cold, very refreshing and soon after I was starving. I forgot how hungry swimming in the ocean makes me feel. below is a photo of the lifeguard building that was being rebuilt during one of my recent visits. evidently sandy destroyed the old one.
