smart cars on long island

I wish I had the guts to drive one of these on long island. they are the cutest little cars. I even like the name. It's just so crowded here on the roads. plus the majority of the people that live here drive large vehicles which is quite intimidating at times when driving a mid size car. how would I feel next to a suburban utility vehicle while driving this little mini?
