farmingdale sky

please click on this photo for more tree detail

there is a certain point as you are driving north down main street when you notice this tree on your left. if you are busy or distracted you might miss it. I love how the branches show their splendid design against the sky. watching this tree is one of my favorite things about living in farmingdale.
this post is part of skywatch friday. for more beautiful skies, thanks to klaus, please go here.

The tree is wise and old and under it there is a place with all the gifts of the world. Maybe.

"Farmingdale Sky" what a great title. And what a great tree. No wonder you watch it through the seasons.

it is indeed a lovely tree highlighted against the sky.
Bold silhouette against that lush blue sky is very striking.

That is a beautifully shaped tree, I much prefer them naked for interest.

I think it's fascinating and gorgeous too! I rarely see completely bare trees that have such fine and myriad branches. To tell you the truth though, I have no idea what kind of tree this is :|

What a spectacular tree! I like them bare, too (but check back with me in the summer when I'll be seeking shade! LOL!)

the tree looks wonderful. you will never notice it if you are not going to look at it for at least 5 seconds. sometimes in life, you miss the beautiful things around you because you are too busy with things. i have always loved long island because it is where i grew up and now it has already been a long time since my last visit.
