les miserables





many high schools have plays around this time of year. garden city high school is showing guys and dolls this weekend & last night I went to see the play les miserables at chaminade. the kids performances were amazing. their last song was so moving it had me in tears. right before the 8:15 curtain, there was an announcement that photography was prohibited. during intermission, I found this photo op. apparently, the school is having a lenten food drive.

The food drive is a perfect companion for Les Mis. I, too, find that high school plays are amazingly good. The kids try so hard and have such talent.

I'm happy about the food drive. I notice that, with the present economy, this kind of thing is being done more often instead of just at Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Some of these high school productions are so professional in recent years!

Omg thanks so much I was in the play at chaminade and it feels great to have this reaction and you could have just asked the director to take pictures I'm sure if you explained he would have understood or there is pics on the chaminade website www.chaminade-hs.org
