May be your neighbour is a fish in disguise.

I can't understand the Halloween thing, it is slowly catching up here in NEw Zealand, more for fun than tradition.
Re: Pestle and mortar, the purist like my mum and aunties, will swear by it that like you say, Food taste better. The pounding extracts the oil.

I don't use them or a food processor.
My husband is a cleaning freak. LOl He wants me to use something and dry it and pack everything away. Ideally, he likes nothing on the bench. So I revolted by giving my food processor away to my sister. I just use my chopper to smash the garlic. The rest, I chop.

Now I told you my secret, my husband never asked me where the food processor is.

That's a pretty scary looking monster! Your neighbor definitely gets into Halloween, doesn't he? Terrific post and photo for the M Day, Lily! Hope your week is going well! Enjoy!

My husband's daughter would like your neighbor. She loves to decorate for Halloween. A pumpkin in the window is enough for me.

I admirer your neighbor's spirit and dedication to enliven Halloween.
It's the Swamp Monster! lol! I think a movie was made about this character.

What a cool Monster. I don't decorate for Halloween as we get no trick-or-treaters but I love to see other peoples efforts.

I wish we had such things/opportunities for decor in the city. It's a shame.

It amazes «Louis» how many photos of his former father-in-law are popping up around the web these days...

As you said "yikes", if i were there i wont look at them, as if they will materialize near my bed at night alive and ready to devour me! I dont like that! Maybe if i were you i will wear shades while they are still there. haha!

Wonderful creepy monster! Love it.

I guess I am new to your blog. I used to visit relatives on Long Island when I was a child. So now I am following your blog.

I added another dog to my D-post. Please take another look whenever you have the time:
