I'm waiting for the LAW to ban cigarettes. Drugs they are, and worse (!), they endanger other people's health. And they stink.

Make mine a small coffee with cream.

I just can't catch up with modern times. A cup of coffee is not something I would buy, since I rarely drink it, so when I see a sign like that all I can think of is back in the day when I did sometimes buy it - more years ago than I care to say. It cost a nickel.

I guess people can buy their coffee there and then hop on at the train station that I can see in the background. Convenient for them!

That's funny...kinda like the camera stores that advertise, "Price too low to show. Call!"

You're showing two addictive drugs here...caffeine in its coffee form has increased in price over the past decades, but cigarettes have gone crazy...I remember 25 cents a pack...now they're five dollars a pack...that makes smoking a financial commitment!

Anyway, it's a fine photograph!

They will do anything to pull you back in to the inviting ring of smokers. I´ll resist the cheapo cigs today too.

Interesting shot of quite strange signs four our standards. I understand about the cigarettes sign, but to advertise any kind of coffee as cheap it's not a good idea.

Does the 99¢ coffee include the size that comes with an IV rack, tube and needle?

«Louis'» Caffeine Meter is in the Red Zone and is looking for a jolt!
