sunlight and dirty snow
the snowmen have all toppled over, the streets and sidewalks are completely clear and the snow is getting blacker by the day. now it's time for it to melt! I shouldn't complain since we have had a lot of sun lately. & I'm sure I won't like it when it starts raining this week either. then again that means the snow will be gone. have a great monday everyone - regardless of what type of weather you are having.

«Louis» likes the light on the buildings - nice contrast to the black snow.
Very 'a propos' photo.
I have been trying to crop dirty snow out of all my shots but it's getting harder, it's all dirty
Ignoring the snow, the picture is great, nice contrasts.

To answer the comment you wrote on my blog, I grew up in Massapequa, but I'm also very familiar with Farmingdale. I had relatives there, I drove through the town to get to work when the highway was congested, and I biked in it and through it, sometimes on my way to the polo grounds, other times on my way to work.
Anyway, very nice lighting on that photo!
