I almost didn't go to the beach yesterday afternoon. then I would have missed this.
when I got to the beach it was as if nature was putting on a show. the sunlight was moving all over the landscape creating bright spots and darkness and shadows and shimmers. big puffy clouds covered whole sections of sky leaving the other half a bold bright blue. the spectacle stopped me dead in my tracks as I stood and pondered how close I live to such awesome beauty.

I think that it's often the days when you 'don't want to go somewhere' and do that you get your best shots. Yours is an example.

Gorgeous photo, your beach and mine may be on opposites sides of the States and different oceans, but they look alike, without knowing where the picture was taken you would not know which shore you were on. Awesome beauty at the beach.

I grew up just blocks from the Atlantic Ocean and when I see pictures like this, it make me miss the beach so much! It is a beautiful picture.
