Spring-2013-at-the-Farmingdale-Nature-Preserve















The sky was very blue yesterday, prompting me to go for a very long bike ride to the Massapequa Nature Preserve. It turned out the weather was chillier than it appeared.  I've noticed the wind has a tendency to feel colder to me while riding my bike then if I were just walking and moving my arms. Reluctantly, I persevered and by the end of my ride I was indeed quite warm. What did you do last Sunday?

One can feel the coolness of the air. We did go for a couple of walks around the neigborhood and we are lucky to have walks along a river right next to us...

i went to a fabulously entertaining drag bar brunch with the really good food and a lot of truly wonderful drag entertainers doing a lot of broadway melodies as only men in drag can

You took a walk where I used to when I was growing up in Massapequa. I took a walk in the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. It was lovely (if crowded), but I'd rather have been with Daryl. :~}
