Watercolor and Roses with Jam

Last weekend Anthony and I were in Providence to visit Ian, so naturally we had to stop at Amy's for breakfast. There was something about these roses that caught my eye. I found them to actually be quite lovely in their droopiness. Is it just me, or does everything work together quite wonderfully in this little vignette?
