When the Atlantic Ocean meets the Fire Island National Seashore
It was 67 degrees at the Fire Island National Seashore as of 3:30 this afternoon - which Robert Moses State Park is a part of. I'd love to know how many people were at my favorite beach today. The weather on Long Island was phenomenal, warm enough so you did not have to wear a jacket but not too hot where you were uncomfortable doing Spring clean up in the backyard.
This picture of Robert Moses beach was taken another day as a storm was moving in - one of those times when the contrast between golden sun and dark clouds create pure magic. Fire Island National Seashore aka FINS is a protected seashore and is part of Suffolk County.
