Reflections from Amsterdam

Last January I had an opportunity to travel to Germany & Amsterdam with only a few weeks notice and I jumped on it. I have noticed whenever I travel everything seems to look new again and inspiration can be found everywhere. This shot was taken in Amsterdam (not on Long Island) on a brisk beautiful day. Amsterdam is a very bustling city. The magenta blur in the left part of this photograph is the reflection of a car whizzing by. If you aren't on a bicycle or in a car, watch out since you might get run over. Thankfully the bikes seem to travel faster than the cars alluding to a better chance for survival as a pedestrian.
