Rhode Island School of Design and Brown's Annual Lawn Party is Happening THIS Saturday

Students who attend Rhode Island School of Design sell items on their school's beach while taking a break outside enjoying the nice weather. Pictured above is RISD's Beach in Providence, Rhode Island.
RISD's "Beach" is actually a lawn on their school grounds and a farm they own elsewhere is actually a beach. If that's not confusing enough, RISD and Brown University are also hosting a "Lawn Party" on Benefit Street this weekend. Ian tells me they roll out AstroTurf on Benefit Street celebrating Spring in the hopes of giving RISD & Brown students a break from their work - even if just for a bit.
I have it on good authority that there will be student bands playing live music from both colleges at the party there Saturday too.
