red pansy shadows and a big thank you to tracy from "hey harriet"!

it's gotten a bit chilly here again, down to 48 degrees from a high of 90 just a few days ago. a good thing for this cold hardy pansy. I was worried this tiny blossom would start to wilt in the heat!
today is shadow shot sunday, a wonderful meme hosted by tracy from the infamous blog hey harriet. a few weeks ago tracy had a giveaway via her etsy shop of which I was happily the winner!  tracy not only so generously sent me the set of four "gluttonous gulls"  her (really cool) TtV ( Through the Viewfinder) prints, she also included the "intimate distances - buddha" photo print  I had picked as my favorite from hey harriet's etsy shop - a wonderful surprise!
if you haven't seen tracy's prints, you must check them out, they are the neatest little fine art original prints photographed by tracy herself. she really has an amazing artistic eye and has a wide variety of amusing subjects to choose from. I can't wait to hang the ones I have received, which you can see at her etsy shop if you'd like to check them out. I feel so lucky to have them. thanks tracy!
oh, and don't forget, today is shadow shot sunday too! if you'd like, please head on over and join in the fun.

I have not seen a completely red pansy. Most of them are mixed.

How cheerful that pansy is! That would manage put a big smile on my face on even my most grumpiest of days!

And thank you so much for the kind words about my little shop and for the seriously sweet plug. You totally rock! xo

Luckily for your flower, it got a tad warmer in the afternoon. It was definitely chilly yesterday morning.
