please click on photo to see pigeons with an attitude up close
and these three pigeons are suburban pigeons. see the two with their backs to the one tentatively stepping onto the grass? they were giving him the cold shoulder. every time he tried to get closer to those two, they booted him onto the sidewalk. now why did they have to be like that?
today is abc wednesday thanks to our host mrs. nesbitt. the letter for the day is P. please go here to join in the fun.

Hey, they're pigeons! 'Nuff said. But I do love your "P" choice and your shot of these dirty birds.
They've been watching people too long! Lovely colors and very pretty birds, I think! Great shot!
Enjoy the rest of your week, Lily!

Lovely pigeons! we have lots of them here in my neighborhood.
Dunno...bad breath? (!)
Poor thing. Isn't it bad enough he has to live his live as a pigeon?
it's hard out there for a pigeon ;)
Ah pigeons .. flying rats ... but your photo is excellent .. well composed .. three (according to ToonMan) is the perfect number for any thing photographed
Huh, I guess even pigeons have their little clicks and snobbery.
Territorial pigeons, I guess, with a bit of attitude. Rather like some people I guess.
Oh dear, I wonder what Pigeon No. 3 had done or said? Did they forgive him in the end, or is he still lurking on the sidewalk?
Poor pigeon.
I have more tolerance for pigeons than some - flying rats I hear a lot - but NOT my favorite animal. But thanks.
Hm. They must be a lot like people, those pigeons. :) Perfect Post.
really cool to take the picture just at right time..
very nice!
That's pigeons for you! They always have attitude - it's what they do!
Pigeons are not always peaceful! Even if they are used as symbols of peace!
Thanks for your visit!
LOL! That is just so wrong.
I never thought I feel this way or say this but I've come to really like pigeons. They're interesting birds.
Love your "P" photo.

P is for pigeon poop too! :-)
I know! They do have an attitude, don't they?:)
Poor misunderstood Pigeons!
Nice P post.
I am so far behind I wonder if I will ever catch up!
I too love Long Island. It is a beautiful place to live.
I visited a couple of times when looking at CW Post for school for my daughter.
