I have to admit winter is beautifully calm and peaceful right after a snow...but then all H--- breaks loose...the driving in it!

Have a sunny week!

What a beautiful snowy scene with lovely long shadows! Experiencing it 'virtually' in warm conditions adds to my appreciation. I'm sharing a mosaic of shadowy photos that I took in Hemet, CA on Christmas Eve. Happy Shadow Shot Sunday!
Hugs and blessings,

What a lovely, snowy shot, Lily! Reminds me of when I lived in Montana and we had so much snow, but it was fun to go with my kids really early in the morning on their paper route and it would be so still and quiet, no other footprints but ours and we'd find ourselves whispering as though we didn't want to disturb/wake up anything. Wishing you a very Happy New Year! Enjoy!

Oooh blizzards don't sound fun! I've never experienced one. That photo is stunning! And I love the snowflakes falling gently across it! Wishing you all the very best for 2010!

This is terrific, Lily! I waited all week too—two bloggers with the same thought, and a shadow shot from the same snowstorm!

Though not so green in this photo, this is the Farmingdale Village green.
