homemade decorations

please click on photo to see shadows up close

I love it when the light shines so brightly, illuminating the inside of our home making everything look perfect-even these tired homemade decorations that have seen better days!
it always amazes me how the sun can do that. meanwhile, we are experiencing quite the blizzard here. I hope you are staying warm!

this post is a part of "hey harriet's" shadow shot sunday meme hosted by tracy. thanks tracy! please go here if you'd like to participate or see more shadow shots.

I love homemade decorations. They're the best type! And yours doesn't look tired from this end! It casts a very sweet shadow. Sending some warmth your way and the very best wishes to you and your family for a beautiful Christmas xo

This is a great shadow shot. Home made are the best kind.I remember a poster we had when the kids were little that said "Love Is Home Made".

I think this is just beautiful—on several levels. Did you spend the day shoveling?

We have dipped our pine cones in fragrant candle wax this year, so when you walk by you get a whiff of pine...ahhh, Christmas...have a happy one!

Wonderful shadow shot! I always like our homemade decorations best - they bring back such happy memories. We've been having a bit of a blizzard, too - hope it's all over for now.

Nicely captured! «Louis» likes the play of the shadow against the white.
