I've only been to brooklyn a few times so I can't even say for sure exactly where this is, other than it's on metropolitan avenue. we did cross over a small bridge to get there and although it wasn't that far from farmingdale, it was a distinctly different neighborhood. I found this sign to be very appealing - I can't wait to go back and take more pictures.
to share a part of your world or just see more of others, please go to "that's my world tuesday". a big thanks to klaus for hosting with his team of helpers, sandy, wren, and sylvia.

Neat. Very Flower Power 60s vibe.

Looking forward to when you go back and see what lurks there....cheeful sign!
that sign shows a bright spot on an empty lot.
This art on the wall is a bright spot on what seems to be a devastated area. Usually it is graffiti but this is very nice. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful image to go along with beautiful things. =)
I love that you go exploring .. do you do it with husband and/or son or on your own?
There was funny pink randomness in this shot. Not a straight line in sight.
That's a beautiful sign. I love the vibrant pink color, and it so happens there's a plant right next to it. Great capture!
Thanks for showing me this beautiful part of my world—Brooklyn!
Really an interesting image, Lily. Great contrast between the colored sign and the surrounding area.
Really a beautiful photo. That sign is so....happy!
I like how cheerful this sign is in relation to its surroundings
This is probably Greenpoint or Williamsburg?
The sign really stands out against teh stone and concrete.
