carpets of leaves seem to be everywhere with all of the recent rain we've been having. I don't mind rainy days so much in autumn. for some reason the beautiful colors seem to be extra saturated making even a grey day look pretty.

Love these .. on the way to the office this morning I stopped to try and capture the feeling of glittery gold of the ginko leaves on the sidewalk in the morning sun ...
I agree that rain makes autumn colours even more lovely. This is wonderful photo to remind us what the leaves look like before they turn crunchy and brown. :)
This wind is blowing all our Upstate leaves Downstate,... I think.
