mount misery

thursday as I ventured into huntington to pick up my eyeglasses I found myself detoured and somehow wound up driving down mount misery road, a road I have not traveled down in years. you know those horror movies where teenagers wander into the woods looking for ghosts? well, that wasn't me, but I did get into a car my brother was driving along with as many other teenagers as we could fit and we did drive up to mount misery looking for ufo's after midnight one winter's eve many many years ago. we had more fun looking for ET's but were terribly disappointed when we didn't find any. a quick google search revealed this article about the history of this haunted neck of the woods.
