another shot from the massapequa preserve - winter is officially here! I just checked the temperature so I feel compelled to report it is 15 degrees outside. earlier we had a high of 23. tomorrow it is going up to 25. stay warm everyone.

Having never been to Long Island, I'm always surprised and delighted to see it has so many rural areas.
