bunny rabbits in garden city
please click on photo to enlargeand there are lots of them. it isn't unusual to see more than one hanging out together on someones lawn eating grass. this home actually had a rabbit that had babies on their property. when I got too close to this one, she hopped away flashing her little cottontail from behind. we don't have any bunnies in our long island neighborhood. I usually just see them on nature trails or by the beaches, so this is a rare treat!
