walking in the rain

I spent an inordinate amount of time walking through lower manhattan this morning. it was pouring during rush hour. I spotted these two walking down bleecker street just as the rain was letting up. they actually looked like they were enjoying the rain. I am sure most people in the city were relieved after the extreme heat we have just had!

That's a lovely one! It reminds me of the time when I was out with my granddaughter who was only a little tot at the time.It started raining and I gave her my umbrella. It covered her completely and from the back she looked like an umbrella on legs! Unfortunately, I didn't have my camera with me.BTW, thank you for your comment on my Paintbox contribution,I hope you do decide to have a go yourself.

Your blog has been included in our guide.

Around The World with Daily Photoblogs Old and New is a brief history of the City Daily Photoblog movement and a guide to sites around the world.

This guide is independent of the CDPB lists. Inclusion here does not imply that a blog qualifies for nor is officially a CDPB. Our criteria are that photographs mainly from a specific geographical location (not necessarily a "city" but usually more specific than a whole country or region) are posted at dated intervals (not necessarily daily), and archives are searchable by date.

Please keep us informed of any changes to your details.
