I have passed this viewing deck at robert moses at least a zillion times and have never once seen anyone on it. as I was leaving the beach yesterday I couldn't help but notice this group of people with gigantic cameras and heavy duty binoculars looking up at the sky. of course we had to look up and right at that moment, a hawk was flying directly over our heads. it was pretty cool. I wonder if someone on the deck has a blog and wrote about it or maybe posted their photographs.
