hardy mums

nothing signals the end of summer like hardy mums. our local grocery store starts putting them out before labor day so I pretend not to see them. I like to think of summer ending on september 21st. heck, I've swam in our warm atlantic ocean as late as early october after all!
since it is starting to get chilly, I like seeing these hardy mums because that means we get to see pretty blossoms for another month or so.
