in mineola. check out this copper dome with the neat weather vane topping this building. I must have passed this place a couple of dozen times and never noticed it was a school until I actually stopped to take this photograph.

Ken, it actually didn't downpour, at least where I was it didn't. The clouds were moving quickly though and it isn't unusual to have completely different weather from one side of the island to the other.
