suburban development...

in massapequa. I don't know if these are condos or apartments. not long ago this was mostly woods. I found it odd that I was at a very busy intersection and there was not one car passing by long enough for me to take this photo. what caught my attention was a person leaning out one of the top floor windows in one of the buildings to the left. then of course I had to get my camera.

This is a very interesting image.
The solid fence gives a strong character to the building complex.

They keep building new housing but there are fewer people who can afford to buy something.
When do they stop?

Hey Lily...
Nice suburban view... It reminds me that there all very similar... Could be Madrid...

To Visit Rome I think the best periods are Spring or Autumn... I was there last August And it was EXTREMELY HOT and FULL of people...

Can't figure out where in Massapequa that could possibly be. It looks bare and barren to me. No trees. Sad.

Glad you had your camera to take a pic for us. ;-)

Thanks Pietro.

I hear you Alida. I don't understand it. There is a whole other development being built in my town and the houses are gigantic. How will people pay for the energy they will require? I've heard they are supposed to be more efficient than the smaller older houses, but they are so huge it's hard to believe. Meanwhile there are brand new houses sitting empty all around town.

that is interesting tr3nta I wondered if suburbs would be different in other parts of the world.

Bobbie, these are located between Carmans Road and Sunrise Highway. There used to be buildings there owned by South Oaks.

Thanks Paz!
