unfortunately I wasn't christmas shopping at home depot this weekend, but I couldn't help noticing the nice shadows displayed here amongst the christmas wreaths while I shopped for household supplies. the sun was streaming inside the outdoor section of the store and everything immediately looked perfectly beautiful. it always amazes me how light transforms everything. please click on the photo if you'd like to see more details.
thanks to dear tracy over at hey harriet's, if you'd like to see more shadow shots, please go here.

Beautiful light and shadow effects in this picture.
About Callas Forever, you're right, it's a nice and interesting film: Maria Callas character is greatly represented.
Great job on the light and shadows.
And yes, I'm eating my vegetables. I love vegetables....as long as I don't have to cook/prepare them. :-)
Very nice. So festive too!
Yes, brilliant light transforms everything.
Cool shot!
What a lovely display...I can almost hear the Christmas carols in the background! This reminds me that I really need to get a start on my Christmas shopping. Aaaarrrgh! Have a great Sunday :)
'Tis the time for shadows! Nice shot - perfect for the holidays!
What a colorful Shadwo Shot.
It's that time again, right...I'm goofing off today watching our first snow of the season here in Iowa, it is so still outside, I just don't want to leave it's beauty to clean house and work on projects...OK, I won't!
Have a wonderful week!
