the society of st. vincent de paul

do you notice anything odd about these monkeys? I think it's really neat that someone somewhere had the creative inkling to fabricate a monkey in a color most people would never even imagine. this is but a small sample of what you may find at the society of st. vincent de paul. it's a great place to go for household items and clothing for bargain basement prices. I was surprised to find out st. vincent de paul was originally founded by six university students in paris. there are a few of these thrift shops on long island, if you would like to find one, please go here.
also, if you'd like, check out some other odd shots hosted by katney's kaboodle here.

Hi Lily, thanks for visiting my blog. The pie filling was pork. My favourite pie is a chunky steak...infact I am just about to go to hubby's workshop armed with 2 warm pies.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
I can feel the inches piling on around my waste. LOL!

May-be the ape-maker has colour blindness?

Those monkeys are fun! I hope they make a lot of money for St Vincent de Paul.

You never know... There just might be blue monkeys deep in the heart of the Amazon rainforest?

ThanX for visiting. Your "groovy baby" comment (said with Austin Powers' accent, of course) made me smile.

That's news to me about the beginnings of St. Vincent De Paul. But I am aware that they've done good work for many years. This photo really caught my attention. I was feeling a little "down" but those monkeys lifted my mood. Thanks!

Hi Gattina!

& thanks Katney for hosting this!

Hi Lydia, wow! these monkeys are doing double duty. I'm glad you got a little lift, us humans need those little lifts as often as possible.
Those monkeys are so cool. My nieces in LA has half a dozen or so that they link together to form a chain around one of their bedrooms.
