lotus garden

I always thought that was a nice name for my favorite chinese restaurant. the sun was shining particularly bright yesterday afternoon creating some neat shadows in their window display. have you noticed the days seem considerably longer here in new york? according to time and date.com, today is 2 minutes and 29 seconds longer than yesterday affording us a grand total of 10 hours and 38 minutes of daylight. & don't forget daylight savings time is march 8th this year!
if you are interested in more lovely shadow shots from around the world, please go here and check out hey harriet's shadow shot sunday meme.

The reflections of the power lines are great! It is a pretty name for a restaurant, although the chap in the window doesn't look very happy. Perhaps he has just had to deal with an annoying customer. And I'm quite sure that the annoying customer wasn't you :D

Lovely image with the good reflection in the glass. He looks a bit like a bouncer!

Thanks for the heads up on all the time schedules for pending spring...we sure do get antsy this time of year don't we...even the snowfalls seem insignificant right now...of course that's easy for me to say, cause the snow is again gone in my neck o the woods...ha!

I like how the past and the today have met in your photo.
Cool statue! I won't mind having one right outside my door but I don't think the neighbors in my apartment building would agree with me. :-)

Sorry for not stopping by -- been crazy busy. All I do lately is post a photo and go straight to bed.
