could this be any more decadent? I unexpectedly had to take my son into manhattan last thursday. we arrived early and finished our business quickly - affording us enough time to grab a liesurely brunch at our favorite greenwich village eatery, cafe angelique. yummy. I wish I could tell you I didn't eat anything for the rest of the day!
please visit hey harriet's, 'shadow shot sunday' meme if you want to join in the fun or if you'd like to see more shadows. & a big thank you to tracy for hosting shadow shot sunday too.

Oh, yum. I'll have to try to remember the name "Cafe Angelique" for the next time we're in New York. Of course, I'm surprised I remembered it since I clicked on "post a comment"!
Looks wonderful. And of course you had to eat something else that day. Vegetables, etc., right? :~)

I can't decide if that brunch is naughty or angelic ~ but I love it. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, dear Lily!
Oh yum!!! That looks like my kind of brunch! I'm going to have to click on that cafe link now to drool over other delights that may be on their menu! Enjoy the rest of your weekend :)
Oh YUM!!! what a great shot! We joined HayHarriets too :-)
I mean HeyHarriets :-)
My first time here. I love the photo! Looks good enough to eat, (pun intended). I get a sense that a leisurely bri=unch would be fun at this place. Good stuff, both on the blog and on the plate.
Peace.
Wowzers! Just looking at that makes my mouth water! Oh to be able to eat at Cafe Angelique!
the light, the colors, the textures
all yummy :)
Beautiful shadow shot, now I find myself hungry and almost drooling.
I think I gained a couple of pounds just looking at that plateful of decadent deliciousness! Someone told me that there was recently an article in the NY Times about all the people who now photograph their food before they eat it—and the restaurants that are beginning to object. :~} Did you see it?
Yummy. Delicious!
Good grief that looks delicious! I can understand why this is your favorite eatery!
Thanks for visiting Ocala DP. We have two Panera Breads here and neither one are very crowded most times...they are usually busiest at lunch time. We enjoy their food and the ambiance.
Hope all is well with you!
That does look delicious. Love the name of the cafe.
Oh wow ..this looks so good! Now I'll also have to try this cafe!
Chocolate cake, ice cream or tiramisù, banana and strawberry: really delicious!!
I'm over due for my lunch - it's almost 1 pm here. This looks like a SCRUMPTIOUS meal on your posting!
Thanks for following my Eagan Daily Photo blog
