farmingdale evening sky

taken last evening, this blue and melon colored sky lasted all of three minutes and then it was gone, leaving nothing but dreary grey clouds in its stead.
if you'd like to gaze at more wondrous skies from all around the world or if you'd like to add your own sky, please visit the skywatch friday  meme, thanks to klaus and his team, sandy, wren, fishing guy, and sylvia.

Fleeting maybe—but gorgeous while it lasted!

I can only quote Alexa, fleeting but gorgeous and long enough for you to capture them! And a terrific capture it is! Hope you have a wonderful weekend, Lily!

Impermanence, so say the Buddhists...nothing lasts forever, so enjoy it while it does.

Very beautiful.

You were lucky to have looked up the sky that 3 minutes. Often, by the time I found my camera, the beautiful redness is gone.
