with the labor day holiday weekend upon us, I thought a block island sunset would be the perfect last photo to share from our block island vacation. technically, summer ends when autumn begins on the 23rd. somehow, at least here in america, many people seem to think labor day marks the unofficial end of summer. I for one refuse to go along with this concept.

I rather like that so many people view Labor Day as the end of summer!! Then there are fewer people in the places I like to go! Lovely snapshot. Glad you had such a good time on Block Island. ~karen

Fabulous colors in your sky this week. For us school in MA was always started next week and the tourists went home so for us that was pretty much change of seasons.
