yesterday the sky around me was so flat and plain all day I was forced to look at it from another vantage point. can you see it outside this window? that is exactly what it looked like. the photo below was taken on the road to trader joes. lucky for me I am not the guest host posting for today's skywatch over at this wonderful meme! if you can, please check out heidi fossen's amazing skywatch photo here, it really is beautiful!

Lordy I hear ya. THis week Ida blew up through B'ham and we had 24 hours of a steady rain. Blue skies now. I'm hoping you get the same very very soon!

Oh, yes! I hear you, too! We had a beautiful day today, but it's already slipped away and tomorrow looks gray and glum as does the next ten days! And it gets dark at 4:30 in the afternoon! Ah, well, I'm so good at whining! Trader Joe's is one of my favorite places, too!

Inside is sometimes the best place to be. Not often, but sometimes.

I would want to be inside trader joe's too! Do like that highway shot. Amazing what a little blue sky does for the day, huh. Maybe we'll have one today. Still dark here!

First thanks for putting the link to my name on that blog. I hope somebody sees it and comes to visit. Amazing. I read it and wondered how it all happened.

And this post is special too. I like it and sometimes wish we could get some rain. So I checked the ten day forecast and sure enough, next week there is 5 days of rain which will make mush out of these oak tree leaves.

«Louis» didn't realize that Trader Joe had migrated to the Right Coast. He thought the Trader was only on the Left Coast.

Looks cold and dreary, much like it was here but the sun finally came out and Saturday was beautiful and today is supposed to be in the 70's! I'm so excited!
I miss Trader Joes!
