I remember wearing jeans named bongos when I was in high school. so naturally that's what I thought of when I saw this night club with the same name. then I remembered how I used to always want to learn how to play the bongos. if you click on this photo you'll see a set of bongo drums underneath the club's name on the awning. I wonder if that means they actually have live music here featuring bongo drums. which reminds me, has anyone seen the movie, "the visitor"? there's a lot of bongo drum playing in it. if you are looking for something really good to watch, I highly recommend it. though maybe you should check out the trailer here first.

My wife used to wear Bongo jeans and when I was a kid I had a bongo drum. Did you see the person in the upstairs window in your picture? Actually it's two arms and maybe a cigarette sticking out.

This whole post cracked me up - you went from a night club to jeans to a percussion instrument to a stellar movie in one small post! I imagine you talking to me and how you would sound and look - which would be serious as all get out and then I'd chuckle and explain myself we'd have a good laugh and then maybe some COFFEE!!!!!!!!!!!Oh how I am mourning my morning cup also... Yes, that upstairs window is interesting. And I love both antenna and satellite dishes.
Husband has a bongo drum, its sits in our livingroom collecting dust ... not even the cats care ...
