Dale Chihuly is either from the Seattle/Tacoma area or works here now. There's a lot of his work at the Tacoma Museum of Glass, worth a look. This is a great piece, especially the close up view. Beautifully photographed. I do love his strange, otherworldly work. And thanks for visiting. Sorry it took me such a long time to return the visit.

I´ve seen those Chihuly-glass thingies in Finland too and they draw the attention all right. Museum seems to be quite relaxed about photography or maybe they don´t care anymore.

What kind of art I like? Modern but not entirely abstract. Good drawings.

What a bright, vibrant piece! I don't really know what type of artwork is a favorite. I'm still discovering different types.

I've seen his work on his website. He is not only very creative but prolific too. His work seems to be everywhere.

I've seen all of his pieces incorporated into the landscape. This is the first time I see his work in a Museum setting. And I like it.
