this clock actually has the name of my hometown labeled in gold on the top of its face. as the sun was getting lower in the sky, it seemed to illuminate this lovely time piece hinting that I should take a photo of it for my blog. this is a typical day for me in my part of the world, always looking for the extraordinary in my wonderfully ordinary life. to check out what is happening in other parts of our world, please go here and visit "that's my world", hosted by klaus, and his team, sandy, ivar, wren, fishing guy and louise.

Very pleasant clock, Lily, so clear too.
this is a beautiful town clock , very useful when you don't have a watch !
Wonderful how you come up with all those interesting photos of Long Island. The Hamptons and Fire Island and coastline are easy, but the rest takes great creativity. Lovely photo.
There's something very homey and comfortable about a town clock. This one is lovely.
Tea time! Great shot!
I love outdoor clocks .. its a nice thing to look up and see what time it is as you hurry along through your day
I love these little clocks but sadly not one in my town. It's also so nice to see one not vandalised and still working.
Very cool looking clock, great pic.

What a lovely clock! And a great shot! It looks like a lovely place to take a stroll! Thanks for sharing a corner of your world! Have a great week!
Great pic. Seems to be a popular clock. My hometown recently added what appears to be the same clock to two very prominent locations in the old downtown area of town. They also added cobblestone streets, retro park benches, gaslight looking street lights and many other items that harken back to the
1820's founding of the town.
It's about "time" you took this photo! ;-)
Ah, a very nice time piece!
That is a handsome looking clock.
Very cool photo. Really looks like a small town 'hometown' decor.
That's anice clock, I wonder how long it has stood there and told the time.
since I hate to ware a watch I would appreciate a town clock but they are rare these days.
