crape myrtles seem to bloom at different times depending on where they are located. for instance, my neighbors crape myrtle's across the street bloomed earlier in the summer while a neighbor's blooms down the block are just petering out now. I love how these two are framing this driveway. aren't they beautiful? I couldn't decide between the two, which one do you prefer?
thank you tracy, from hey harriet's shadow shot sunday meme. please go here if you'd like to participate or see more shadow shots. hope you are having a great sunday.

Oh, Lily, these are so lovely! Hard to decide which one I like best, they're both so beautiful! Terrific shadow shots for the day!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

It throws lovely shadows that set off the pink - very pretty shots.
A pretty and delicate play of shadows in both photos!
The bushes are beautiful in bloom..the shadows are lovely too.
Very soft and delicate.
Happy SSS.
Both are just beautiful, but the shadows in the second are so wonderful!

Beautiful photos! I am a follower now! Hope you will visit my blog and see my photos :)
I especially like the second shot with the close-up lacy shadows.
Both very fine pictures, Lily! Great harmony between flowers and shadows.
Hello Lady,
You really have the eye for perfect shots. Very nice and loving the naturally looks.
Great job.

Beautiful in full glorious color and also in shadow! And yes, lovely the way it frames the drive. I'm a bit envious, must admit.
Crape myrtle, one of my favorit shrubs, nice choice for a shadow shot.
Lovely shadows!

Stunning. I love these trees. Here we call them "crepe myrtle", with the french spelling.
What a lovely shade of pink! I've never heard of crape/crepe myrtles before! I've seen lemon myrtle trees but they aren't as pretty (they smell nice though!). Hmmm...which photo do I prefer? Difficult choice but I think the second one. Although both are beautiful :) Hope you have a super week!
The perfect frame for a garage door. Lovely shadows.
Just found your blog as I was visiting over at Hey Harriet - very interesting. I'll be ba back often.
