I forget there are horses on long island and then I'll pass a stable or notice a couple on the l.i.e.
this is the first time I've seen a bunch of them crossing the street like this before. this was a neat surprise. I wish I knew the story behind where this group came from.

What a marvelous and delightful shot! I'm a big horse lover, so this got to me right away! Love the colors! And, no, I don't usually think of horses on Long Island! How fun!

Since I recognize the location, I'm guessing they came from the Bethpage stables nearby. But where they were going is puzzling! The girls look young so I'm sorta surprised they'd be crossing Conklin St. like that.
