skywatch over the united methodist church on main street

today's skywatch is taken from the archives. I've photographed the united methodist church on main
street before. this time the light was making it golden and with such a dramatic sky, I thought this would be nice to have for those friday's when I am faced without a satisfactory photograph to post for my favorite skywatch meme.
if you'd like to see more skies from all around the world or if you'd like to add your own sky, please visit skywatch friday, thanks to klaus and his team, sandy, wren, fishing guy, and sylvia.

What a marvelous shot, Lily! I love the golden light and such lovely skies! I can use all of the golden light that I can find these days! After having a very mild winter and everything blossoming out early, the weather has suddenly turned quite chilly with lots rain and wind! Yuck! Ah, well, it can't be to much longer -- I'd hate to lose all the things that have bloomed early!! Have a wonderful weekend!

Wow, I love the clouds in this one. They look like they were hand painted in the sky. Great shot!

Clear streets - blue (if cloudy) skies - and no snow!

I don't think I've ever seen a green steeple like that before. The light is amazing!

The clouds look almost low enough to touch the spire. Beautiful mood to this photo.
