cheap lattes

I was shocked to see these two billboards on glen cove road in carle place the other day. I don't think I've ever seen any on long island except for the ones I've glimpsed while speeding towards the tunnel into manhattan. then again maybe I just don't ordinarily notice them.

this post is a part of my world tuesday. to share a part of yours or just see more of others, please go here, thanks to klaus for hosting with his team of helpers, sandy, wren, fishing guy and sylvia.

I don't notice billboards around here either. Now I wonder if there are any.

I'm like James, I don't notice billboards here in Seattle, in fact, I don't even remember the last time I saw one. They're here, just not many in the area where I live. Hope you have a great week, Lily!

Interesting. They look so different to the ones I see here.

We have so many billboards in Southern California that I don't really see them half the time. The one on the left here could use a little attention. :)

And my question is...how can you make a Latte look unattractive? Somehow they have done it.

Interesting - we don´t have any bill boards here.

Every now and then I spot some sign I could swear hadn't been there the day before, but obviously had. That's a cheap latte....but I'd have one, along with a sugar doughnut.

I was travelling along a country road just last weekend and was saddened to see the view spoiled by billboards. I HATE them!

The billboard on the left is confusing, but the 99c latte I can go for.

No billboards on Long Island? Good.

Wonderful photo.

Now you have me thinking. I don't remember if I aw billboards on LI. Maybe our brains just block them out because we don't want the scenery to be spoiled.
Interesting picture, principally with the snow.

Too bad about the billboards, and I hope their lattes are better than their doughnuts :(
