if you click on this photo to enlarge, the license plate says, 'being rebuilt at cap a radiator.' this is where I get my gas tank filled two or three times a week. remember this car I posted about a couple of weeks ago? you guessed it, cap a radiator. remember this car I posted about last summer? nope, not from cap a radiator, but I am wondering if the one pictured here will ever get to look as good.
this post is a part of weekend reflections hosted by james of newtown area photo. thank you james!

I Love this photograph...
I'm glad it's being re-built ~ that's going to make a fine Before photo, Lily! Have a beautiful weekend...
I think it's hard that anything may reflect on this less than shiny surface. It's really better the reflection than the car itself
In Malaysia, one might suspect that the owner up set someone and had formic acid splashed on the car. Wosrt still id splashed on the person.
Great reflection.
Re: Then cupping, the marks went in a week.
Oh this is great! I love this photo so much.
That looks like a tough job. If they ever get it fixed, you have to take another photo. Please? :)
nice reflection!! so clear and detailed.
My first car in 1962 was a 54 Chevy pale green and cream ( I was sixteen)....and I paid $50. dollars and it was a dream to drive as the quality of the metal and paint was remarkable..oh how I remember the days...

we owned a black and white one of those, too bad we didn't keep it. It was in great shape. Remember? PGma
A stunning picture and vert Long Island.
My late father in law had a car dealership in Huntington for many years.
Happy weekend
That's a great reflection! I love it.
Isn't it funny how blogging makes you see stuff like this more in real life?
Happy weekend!
This is one of my favorite Reflection photos of the day! Great photo.
Poor, sad auto.
Hope she gets a nice body makeover so she can be driven with pride.
It's rusty but I love it!
I am very impressed that this car is still licensed! Nice shot.
Great reflection, Lily! I know some guys who'd love to get their hands on this neglected vehicle and make her gorgeous again.
That is so cool. Great old car and great reflection too.
Oh it does look so sad and in need of a little tender loving care!
What a classic. Love the two-tone color scheme. Sure hope they don't paint it red.
As we say down here," Well bless his heart!" ;)
Great find Lil.

A beautiful rusty old car!
It's been a while since «Louis» has seen a '54 Chevy Bel-Air!
«Louis'» dream car is a Packard Carribean.
It looks a bit like my old Nova- it was that kind of green color. I loved it. Once aily drove to Glen Cove and back to Amityville in it. I passed it on to someone who drove it into the ground, probably. Nice memory photo.
wonderful reflection of this aging car in need of work ;-)
Hugs and blessings,
