semi stopping at starbucks

there are some pretty big parking lots here on long island. it's not unusual to see signs posted alerting the public against vehicles parking over night in them too. yesterday morning I stopped for some coffee at my local starbucks and I overheard this trucker ask the employees if it was ok for him to park here. the funny thing is I didn't even notice his truck in the parking lot until I heard him ask about it. when I looked up to check it out I was amazed at how a truck this big and white could stay so clean.
happy last day of summer everyone.

All customers have equal rights to be served and to park their "cars" LOL

Yes, sometimes the big things are the hardest to see. I heard Wal-Mart lets RVs stay in their lots overnight.

And I had to ask myself, "How could she have not seen that truck?" It does appear to be very clean.

Sometimes we just dont see things because we're focused on something else ... tho that truck had to be hard to miss ...

I was one of those truckers who preferred the quite of an empty parking lot to the bedlam of a truckstop. Most property owners were nice about it. But, back east, it's better to ask.

By the way, it takes about forty bucks and a crew of five to wash one of those things. Most owners pay for a weekly wash. Just makes their company image look better. And the troopers are nicer when you're clean.

Starbucks is raising their prices. Glad I rarely buy from them. :-)Pgma

We are so accustomed to seeing large trucks in this area, we don't really notice them, just a fact of life here.

That is a nice white truck. It looks like it's waiting to be painted with a big ad or logo.

Lori's right—it looks like a big blank canvas. (a really clean one to be sure!)
